Singapore Airlines
It is said that only two things in life can be certain: death and taxes. Surely to that we should add a third: that Singapore Airlines will always be high on the list of the best airlines in the world. Its position at the top is not difficult to understand. The airline has consistently been at the cutting edge of the aviation industry, and most recently was the first to operate commercial flights on the super-jumbo A380. On top of technical innovation have been added new standards of comfort: more space and entertainment choices in economy, the widest flat-beds in business class, and the famous “double-beds” in the first-class suites. Add to that gourmet-style dining and impeccable Asian service and it’s easy to see why so many find flying this way a pleasure. And did I mention the Singapore hostesses?
