Best Luxe Hotel Chain - Four Seas

BEST LUXE HOTEL CHAIN
Four Seasons

There was a time when the words “hotel chain” meant indifferent service, uniform blandness and rock-hard beds. The luxury Four Seasons chain ended all that, and you only have to look at a few of the 82 Four Seasons-managed hotels in 32 countries to realise how successfully this Canadian company has created uniform excellence. The George V in Paris, the I.M. Pei-designed hotel in Manhattan, the fabulously restored Gresham Palace in Budapest and the recently opened Four Seasons Hotel Firenze are all exemplary five-star properties, symbols of high-class hospitality in the world’s great capitals. What all the city hotels appear to have is stunning architecture and a perfect location, as well as effortlessly outstanding service. The growing portfolio of resorts, located in exotic far-flung places (Bali, Seychelles, Maldives, Thailand’s Golden Triangle, and Maui, to name a few) offer similar luxuries, but, more importantly, the reassurance of high standards in foreign climes. For Ultratravel readers, this clearly ticks all the boxes.
